This is how a considerable portion of the public thinks, which is why these comments do not surprise me and also why I fail to comprehend this latest outrage.
O artigo que se segue diz que, “Conservatives have put forth the ‘takers versus makers’ argument for years”; eu serei mais especifica e direi que esta “doutrinação” começou nos anos 80, com a divulgação do pensamento económico de Milton Friedman e Anna Schwartz e as políticas de Ronald Reagan e Margaret Thatcher.

É simples: “(..) quando os problemas são complexos a coisa mais tentadora e politicamente rentável consiste em os ultra-simplificar com explicações básicas, imediatas, unívocas que o comum dos cidadãos absorve como uma espécie de prato pré-cozinhado, sem necessidade de grande digestão.
