  1. Managers who do not like people cannot be good managers
  2. Harming people will never motivate people
  3. The worst to be done is to make a person losing face – respect is a pre-condition of success in the relationship with others
  4. You should trust others’ capacities
  5. People is good unless demonstrated otherwise
  6. Delegating without controlling is like accelerating a car that has no brakes
  7. Key values: honesty, integrity and loyalty
  8. Focus on objectives and give the prize to who really deserves it
  9. Don’t leave subordinates alone against adversity: never let them go down alone
  10. Put together complementary skills
  11. Give the more difficult tasks to those better endowed to handle them successfuly
  12. Give always opportunities – in case of failure, assign another opportunity
  13. Define and allocate measurable and achievable targets
  14. Too fierce competition within the team can lead to undesirable outcomes
  15. Who runs for pleasure never gets tired
